Das CAPSTONE Schulungsprogramm
Das California Wine Institute hat das CAPSTONE Schulungsprogramm entwickelt und im Jahr 2021 lanciert. Mit vier Zertifikatsstufen und praxisnahen Verkostungskursen, die von zugelassenen Ausbildern auf der ganzen Welt durchgeführt werden, ist CAPSTONE damit das wahrscheinlich weltweit umfangreichste Schulungsprogramm einer Weinregion.

Für Einsteiger bis hin zum Expertenlevel kann jeder Teilnehmer den für sich optimalen Input wählen. Jede Stufe baut auf dem vorherigen Niveau auf. Folgende Themen werden behandelt: Geschichte, Geografie & Klima, Böden, Rebsorten, Weinbau & Weinbereitung, Ausbau & Reifung, Weingesetz, offizielle Klassifikation, Produzenten, Jahrgänge und Weinmarkt. Die VINOPHILIUM Wine Academy ist für die Umsetzung der Schulungsaktivitäten der exklusive Partner für Deutschland, Schweiz und Österreich. Inhaber und Weinakademiker DipWSET Dietmar Maisenhölder ist zertifizierter California Wines Educator für den D-A-CH Markt.

Im Moment können die Levels 1 und 2 durchlaufen werden. Der Level 3 wird voraussichtlich in den nächsten Wochen online gehen.

Introductory Level 1
Zugang zur Online-Lernwelt, 6 Stunden Selbststudium mit Halbtagesseminar in Präsenz mit geführter Verkostung von 8 Weinen | 75,00 € (reguläre Teilnahmegebühr)

Intermediate Level 2
Zugang zur Online-Lernwelt, 20 Stunden Selbststudium mit Tagesseminar in Präsenz mit Verkostung von 15 Weinen | 125,00 € (reguläre Teilnahmegebühr)

Termine für 2023 gehen in den nächsten Tagen online. Es ist nicht notwendig, die Theorie inkl. Prüfung vor dem Tasting durchlaufen zu haben. Im Seminar werden die wichtigsten theoretischen Inhalte behandelt.

Wir empfehlen auch Weinakademikern mit dem Level 1 einzusteigen, da die Inhalte modular aufgebaut sind.

• Die Kurse werden in deutscher Sprache durchgeführt, das Programm kann allerdings auch in englischer Sprache durchlaufen werden.
• Die Levels 1 und 2 gibt es in den Sprachen englisch, deutsch, französisch (russisch und polnisch ist zusätzlich für Level 1 verfügbar).
• Die weiteren Levels 3+4 werden dann nur noch in englischer Sprache angeboten.
• Die VINOPHILIUM– WINE ACADEMY ist ausschließlich für den deutschsprachigen Markt D-A-CH zuständig. Außerhalb dieser Länder gibt es in Europa entsprechende andere Ausbildungspartner.

CAPSTONE California Wine Certification Program
The California Wine Institute has developed and launched the CAPSTONE training program in 2021. With four certificate levels and hands-on tasting courses delivered by approved instructors around the world, this makes CAPSTONE probably the most comprehensive training program of any wine region in the world.

For beginners through to expert level, each participant can choose the input that is best for them. Each level builds on the previous level. The following topics are covered: History, Geography & Climate, Soils, Grape Varieties, Viticulture & Winemaking, Aging & Maturation, Wine Law, Official Classification, Producers, Vintages and Wine Market. The VINOPHILIUM Wine Academy is the exclusive partner for Germany, Switzerland and Austria for the implementation of the training activities. Owner and Weinakademiker DipWSET Dietmar Maisenhölder is a certified California Wines Educator for the D-A-CH market.

At the moment, levels 1 and 2 can be completed. Level 3 is expected to go online in the next few weeks.

Access to the online learning world, 20 hours of self-study with day seminar in presence with tasting of 15 wines | 125,00 € (regular participation fee)

Registration options for 2023 will be visible online soon. It is not necessary to have gone through the theory incl. exam before the tasting. The most important theoretical content is covered in the seminar. We also recommend that Weinakademiker start with Level 1, as the content is modular.
